Description

When people live united (not in unison, but in agreement on what is most valued), it is a precious thing to God, a lavish expression of goodness (vs 2), and a miracle that blesses all those around (vs 3). Note: this is a psalm of ascent, meant to be sung as a 'rising chorus' as people were going to Jerusalem for worship. Jesus may have referred to this when he said "when you worship and remember that a brother has something against you, leave your gift and go and make peace with your brother." (Mt 5:23-24)
