We live in a noise-addicted, continually distracted culture. Our pace affects our intimacy with Jesus, we waste time, and our bodies run ahead of our souls, Question: Are there not twelve hours of daylight? In this text it appears Jesus is “late” in getting to Lazarus, yet we see in this text and throughout the Gospels, of Jesus moving purposefully because he understood his mission.
