BUT God!
One of the best ways to start a verse might be “But God.” Life may be unraveling “But God” is still God - and God works in amazing, mysterious, surprising ways. Reflect on this while you meditate on the following verses. You might need to read the verse in context to get the full impact!)
* But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish. (Psalm 9:18)
* But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. (Psalm 49:15)
