To show up uninvited to someone’s home, knowing judgmental stares and comments await, took unbelievable courage. But then, to perform such a scandalous act in front of those very same onlookers was shocking - and admirable. What’s a person to do when you’re overcome with adoration for Christ? His unimaginable forgiveness has the power to produce a response of love, even in the face of disdain. Christ wooing us back to himself is cause for joy. So, how do we experience that kind of uncontained joy for ourselves?

✅ Do you experience joy? Where are you in the order of things?
--) Repentant heart. Is there anything that has been stirred up in you that is causing tension and you need to repent and ask forgiveness?
--) Offer of forgiveness from God. Do you believe that God wants to forgive you in order to save and heal you? Spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally. If not, why? There is nothing you could do that could keep his forgiveness out of reach. He shows us time and time again that he enters into the places where the outcasts live.
--) Are you extending the love of Christ to others by showing acts of love so that it remains flowing rather than stagnant?
