As humans, we don’t always welcome interruptions. They mess with our agendas, our carefully balanced schedules, and our expectations. But could some of these interruptions be God attempting to get our attention? What if allowing ourselves to be interrupted by the needs of others were exactly the kind of divine detours Jesus was calling us to take? The announcement of Jesus’ resurrection interrupted the course of history. It was unexpected and disruptive to his first followers, and it continues to interrupt our lives today. Join us as we explore how the good news of Jesus’ resurrection changes our own trajectories, expectations, and priorities.
