As I (Marty) warm up for Sunday's message, Faith and Authority, I looked again at the wisdom and insight of Proverbs 21:2-3. When we are corrupted by sin humans evaluate the rightness of our lives we have a tendency to think too favorably of our own character. We need the LORD's eyes to impartially see our souls.
