In the book of Acts, the story of Stephen is recorded in chapters 6 and 7. Stephen lived for Jesus and he died for Jesus. Stephen was a faithful servant who would not put anything before his faith, even his own life. As the first recorded martyr, we learn a great deal about how to be faithful even in the midst of great persecution.
