Description

An estimate 80% of all deaths in Canada during COVID-19 have been elderly people in long term care. This is a tragedy.

With an aging population in Canada the conversation of how we care for our elderly is critical.

On this show Dr. Margaret Cottle, Assistant Professor in the UBC Medical Faculty with a specialization in palliative care unpacks what has been happening, what we can do better and how we can prepare both for a potential 2nd wave of COVID-19 this fall and the aging population in general.

Her comments are very insightful.

This show will began airing on July 5th, 2020.
