Description

In Joel 1:13–20, we see a hard but hopeful truth: grief is the right response when we finally recognize what sin has damaged in our lives, our homes, and our church.

This message walks through five realities from the passage: grief begins with leadership, grief is meant to be public (not hidden), grief recognizes the Day of the Lord, grief refuses to minimize the loss, and true grief always ends in prayer. We also contrast worldly sorrow (shame that keeps you stuck) with godly grief (repentance that leads to freedom and restoration).

If you’ve been numbing conviction, hiding in private shame, or excusing what God is confronting—this is your invitation to return.
