Does God get angry?
“A study of the concordance will show there are more references in scripture to the anger, fury and wrath of God, than there are to his love and tenderness” – A.W. Pink, The Attributes of God
God’s Wrath
WHY - God is holy, therefore he is pure and separate from all evil and sin
HOW - God is just, therefore he judges all impartially according to His righteous standard
WHO - God is love, therefore he placed our deserved punishment for sin on his Son, Jesus Christ
Unbeliever - May an understanding of God’s wrath cause you to trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior
Believer - May an understanding of God’s wrath cause you to revere him and follow hard after Jesus
