Description

This week as we continue in our study through the story of Acts, we come to Acts 18:24-28. Luke, the author of Acts, describes a story of Apollos in Ephesus. Priscilla and Aquila take him aside and explain the way of God to him more accurately. This story shows the importance of having gospel-centered Christian community and the humility to be corrected by other sisters and brothers in the faith. From the story, René encourages us to:

1) Value others

2) Humble yourself

3) Trust God

We need others. We aren't to live the Christian life alone. Mission is the work of the Jesus to be done Jesus' way. We can rest that as we trust in Jesus with all our heart and do not lean on our own understanding, that He will guide us and direct our paths.
