Let’s face it, ladies, we’re complicated. We’re a mix of different thoughts, emotions, and experiences… and that mix can change from day to day. We like to refer to that mix as a collection of “parts.”
So let’s start off the new year at ground zero – talking about our “parts:” how they make us who we are, and how we can put them in the best order.
This Week’s Listener Question:
On the Soul Enchilada Podcast, you tow often talk about “parts” of us. I’m confused. What are you talking about?
Small Group Questions:
To build connection with a friend or in your small group, ask each other these questions.
What protective parts do you notice coming up for you lately? (anger, shame, perfectionism, performance, peace keeping…)
The 8 C’s in Internal Family Systems Therapy are: calm, clarity, compassion, confidence, connection, courage, creative, curiosity. Which C’s have you been experiencing lately? Where were you and what were you doing?
Which of the 8 C’s do you need more of in this new year? Why so? What needs to change or grow to experience more of this C in 2024?
