Jesus' first coming must have seemed undramatic to the Jews who expected the Messiah to conquer Rome and rule in Jerusalem. However Jesus in the parables of the mustard seed and the leaven revealed that while God's Kingdom seems to have a small beginning, it would ultimately fill and influence everything.
