This week, E.T. is going to be visiting the United Methodist Church at Absecon! Ok, not really. But what if he did? E.T. wouldn't know anything about worshiping here. He wouldn't know where to park his spaceship. He wouldn't know where the sanctuary is. He wouldn't even know where the bathroom is. Even though E.T. will never worship with us, other people will. They, like E.T., may know nothing about us. How do we help visitors find their way around? How do we make them feel welcome? What would we want their first impression of the United Methodist Church of Absecon to be, and how can we be a part of creating that kind of church? Let's learn how to be a church that expects new disciples!
