One of the most extraordinary things about the early church was what Pastor Dan is talking about today—the radical and sacrificial love the people had for each other. The Spirit was working in their hearts and minds to create the unity of believers, and people saw the pain and the need of the others. Not only that, they allowed the Spirit to move them to do something about it. Ask the Spirit to move in your heart today as he did in the early church. Ask him to move you into greater compassion.
