We’ve seen a big push for this kind of unity already in our world, haven’t we? The message is that your truth is your truth and all that really matters is that you believe in it and yourself. This has become a unifying doctrine amongst well-meaning, but lukewarm branches of Christianity, and it’s touched other religions as well. As Pastor Dan will remind us in today’s message, this doctrine is very alluring because it sounds good on the surface, but it rejects the truth of who Jesus is.
