If you’re given a warning about a tornado that’s been sighted, but you disregard it, it’s only natural that you’re in the path of destruction. It would be foolish to ignore the warning signs and assume you’ll be just fine. In a similar way, Pastor Dan talks today about God’s warnings of judgment, and how God’s people continued living in their wicked ways, not taking what God promised seriously. This is so common for human nature to kick in, and for people to think they know better than God.
