In our passage, Jesus heals a lame man and proves to be the True Healer. But instead of praise, Jesus experiences opposition and proves to not only be the True Healer, but also the Rejected Healer. This story challenges us as believers to see others the way Jesus sees them and to not take for granted what God has done for us.
