Jesus and the New Testament authors are clear: Christians have a personal mission to make disciples. There are no exceptions for your past, your other responsibilities, or even your perceived lack of gifting. If your heart was turned to Jesus, you’re responsible for trying to turn other’s hearts to Jesus. As the Apostle Paul puts it, we are God’s “ambassadors” to a lost world (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). But we’re often so afraid of rejection, conflict, or losing our relationships that knowing where to begin can feel overwhelming.
So this message series, Turning Hearts, is about providing a simple framework for beginning. This was taught by Huston Oliver our Senior Minister on August 17, 2025.
