What does it mean to truly know and love God? Today as Pastor Jeff teaches us in 1 John 2, we find that knowing God is intimately tied to obeying His commandments and walking in the light. We’re taught that genuine love for God is demonstrated through our obedience and love for fellow believers. On the contrary, harboring hatred and living in darkness are contrary to the Christian way of life. Ultimately John reveals that knowing and loving God involves both obedience to His commands and a deep, genuine love for one another.
