It's been said that Israel is at the center of the world. Jerusalem is at the center of Israel. The Temple is at the center of Jerusalem, and the Holy of Holies is at the center of the Temple. Jesus sends John to measure the temple and the alter, why? Because measuring signifies ownership, protection, and preservation!
