Why do we do what we do? Why do we want what we want? Motivation. As we continue in our stewardship series, we will discover the biblical motivation for generosity. Paul writes, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” (2 Cor. 8:9) When this truth takes hold of our hearts, generosity takes hold of our lives.
