Description

Imagine being called to build something beautiful and of great value, only to learn you’ll be attacked while you work. That’s the scene Paul paints as he closes Ephesians. After unveiling the brilliance of the gospel, the redeeming work of Christ and the new community it creates, he reminds us that this culture of grace will not go unopposed. We have a real enemy, often subtle but relentless. Yet we are not defenseless. God clothes us in spiritual armor—the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the Word, and the Spirit of Christ himself. The call is to be strong in the Lord, to remember who you are in Christ, and to live grounded in the gospel that both saves and shields you.
