Description

What is the most daring prayer you could pray? In Ephesians 3:14–21, Paul doesn’t ask for success, safety, or even strength to do more. He dares to ask that we would know the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ. This is no soft sentimentality but a love so vast it surpasses knowledge. An eternal love that renovates hearts and communities and overwhelms the sin, selfishness, hatred, and violence that have plagued humanity from the beginning. In a world starving for love, truth, and peace, there is no prayer more urgent. So let us be enlivened together by Christ’s love and dare to pray boldly to truly know it, trusting that He is able to do even more than we ask or imagine, for His glory.
