Tests. None of us like them. They can push us to our very limits. And yet a moment of testing proves to be the pinnacle of Abraham's story. He is tested by God with the unthinkable: to sacrifice his promised son, Isaac. With this test comes the foundational question that confronts all of us: Do we want the blessings of God more than we want God?
