Fathers are a blessing to all of us. If we take time to listen to our fathers, we'll realize that they're often filled with wisdom, encouragement, and even a funny story along the way. We had the amazing opportunity to have both Andy Williamson and his father, Pastor Jerry Williamson on stage teaching together this Father's Day. Andy took this time to focus on three main items that his dad has taught him over the years, and both Andy and Pastor Williamson taught on these topics.
1. Wisdom: Knowing one's self, knowing one's God, and knowing one's neighbor.
2. Conflict resolution: How to operate in harmony with others.
3. Pulling on His Substance: I have Jesus For This.
We find great value in seeking out the wisdom that God provides for us. By being eager and relying on Him, our eyes will be opened to what our calling is and we'll learn how to serve through leadership and how to love through the eyes of our great Father in Heaven.
