God enters into a covenant relationship with Israel knowing full well that her faithfulness to Him would be like “the morning clouds or early dew that goes away”. Our struggles can draw us away from God, but when the love of God touches the inner man of the heart, we are transformed crossing the threshold to a new way of living.
