The Law of Moses was powerless to remove sin. Quite the opposite, the Law served as a reminder of your constant missteps and need for cleansing. Which is why Paul refers to it as the “Law of Sin and Death.” Thankfully, a New Covenant was made, based 100% on a gift from the Holy Spirit, with no background check needed to qualify, all because of what Jesus did!
