What an unusual covenant we have with God since the Cross. Instead of measuring righteousness by man’s effort, as in Moses’ day, we are now measured by Jesus’ effort. Instead of condemning mankind for their lack of perfection, we are rewarded for Christ’s own perfection. This momentous truth is precisely what motivates us to reflect outwardly what has been completed inwardly.
