Surrender is a battle term. It implies giving up all rights to the conqueror. When we surrender to God, we give up control – our plans, our will – and allow Him to lead, to guide, to direct our paths. The amazing news about our victor, is that He conquers us to bless us! Commit everything to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you! (Psalm 37:5)
