Biblical zeal is directed by knowledge of the truth of God’s word; it is a total, all-consuming passion and devotion for God and for His will; and it leads to action. Christian zeal is a flame ignited by God’s Spirit in our spirit that fuels us to wholeheartedly follow and honor the Lord.
