If I am an apple tree, I bear apples. If I am a Bear, I am huge, hairy, live in the woods and scare people. You are what you do and what you believe. You just are and that is what this passage is saying. People are always trying to find out who they are. People are always trying to find themselves. Well this passage will give them the answer. They may not like it.
