We are beginning a new sermon series on 1 Corinthians to coincide with our school year theme of "Choosing Unity". You and I both know how polarized our world is right now and how much more fractured it can become in an election season. We have lost the ability to really listen to one another. We take sides. We take positions and, let's be honest, sometimes we forget why. Now more than ever the Church has a responsibility to be bridge builders and peacemakers in our community.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. But what is freedom? What does it really mean to be free? This week, Pastor Karla shares that it is true that Christ has set us free, but our freedom is not to be used as an excuse to hurt others.
