Tracy L. Barnett is a people’s journalist and journalism educator. She is the founder of The Esperanza Project, an online magazine covering sustainability initiatives in the Americas. Tracy is a Pulitzer grantee and has published in Al Jazeera English, Huffington Post, USA Today and Esquire Latin America. She is a former editor at the Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express and teaches journalism & writing at universities and community organizations.
