Joining the podcast today is Sean Bedard — actor, improviser, stand-up comedian, playwright, and proud member of the Alberta Ghostbusters. You’ve likely seen the Alberta Ghostbusters out and about — maybe the Ecto-1 rolling through the Calgary Stampede Parade, or at Ghostbusters Night with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Alberta Ghostbusters are a society with a charitable mission, raising funds through cosplay events. Sean shares stories from their events and fundraising efforts, including the time he was invited to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife set and met director Jason Reitman.
Oh, and did we mention Sean’s encyclopedic knowledge of the franchise? He’s taking it to the next level with a Ghostbusters One Man Show at the Edmonton Fringe Festival later this year.
