Sophia Zaman Tareq is a Bangladeshi woman who went missing from Rochester, Minnesota in 1999. Sophia moved to the United States from Bangladesh some time in the mid-1990s. She moved with her husband and young son Mohammad. In the US, they resided with her sister Mary Zaman, her brother-in-law Iqbal and their son Asif. In 1999 a woman and a child’s body were found in Rochester, the woman’s body was identified as Mary Zaman, Sophia’s sister.
