He's the genius who invented jeans. Today in 1869, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was sent out to the states for ratification. It was formally ratified 342 days later, effectively guaranteeing African-Americans the Right to Vote. In 1981, Judas Priest released their seventh album, "Point of Entry", featuring "Heading Out to the Highway." In 1983, "Pass the Dutchie" by Musical Youth peaked at #10 on the pop singles chart. In 1991, Motorhead released their ninth album "1916". It features "R.A.M.O.N.E.S.", their tribute song to The Ramones. In 1993, a terrorist bomb exploded in the garage of New York's World Trade Center,killing six people and injuring more than 1,000 others.
