Her childhood was a horrible tragedy: dysfunctional family, sexual and physical abuse from her father, unloving mother.
After graduation she ran away to the big city. There she lived the street life: promiscuity, hopelessness and thoughts of suicide. Through all that, in the middle of the night, she would hear a voice saying: I love you. Later she would discover it was God’s voice
Then, through the witness of Christian friends, she received God’s love and Christ’s forgiveness. Out of deep despair and sinfulness, God allowed Julie Woodley to Experience Hope.
