Description

IN THIS EPISODE:

Identity…what is it?

What happens when we confuse 'role' and 'function' with our true identity?

Why do so many of us suffer from Identity crisis?

In this episode, we examine roles, function, and their association with the world of form.

Examples of external form in the Biblical narrative include:

The Israelite Temple – an external form whose function was tied to God. Identity in this form is where God was seen as separate (in the Holy of Holies).

The Land – Boundaries determined where Israel settled as a nation; the land was divided into parcels for each of the twelve tribes.

Boundaries are the source of all the conflict we are experiencing in the world today: Spiritual, Religious and Political.

Examples of Internal forms include:

Form is necessary tool – containing useful roles and functions – but we are not attached to form for our identity.
