Listen

Description

About 5 years ago I attended a meeting of the American Academy of Religion in San Antonio, Texas. This group meets once a year and averages about 10,000 people in attendance! Attendees are theologians from different world religions who look at current issues in literally hundreds of break out groups over 3-4 days.

The Christian tracks have theologians from numerous backgrounds and areas of expertise. I went to San Antonio because a new group had formed called Theology Without Walls (TWW).

Why is this important to Presence?

TWW is challenging theologians to pursue studies of God beyond the walls of their particular world religion. So this is an attempt to move beyond the Interfaith movement. I want to share with you some detail about their foundational concepts and how this finally addresses the questions and proposals offered by our Integral approach. Our integral hermeneutic is now in play!
