Dorcas Walker wears many hats. She’s a daughter, a sister, a wife, a full-time mom, a mentor, an educator and a business coach.
She began her career in the sales and service industry. What led her to leave that profession after ten years of dedication and investment was the realization that her commitment to the company was rarely recognized, and never fairly compensated for. Essentially, she got tired of working for someone else and not feeling valued.
Dorcas was convinced she had to make a drastic change when her health began to decline. She felt increased stress from work and pressure to achieve company goals. She finally made the crucial decision when she was pregnant with my first child. She spent months reflecting on how her life would be if she continued to work the same way she had. It broke her heart how little time she would have with her child.
She realized she wanted a life full of choices and needed to make a change for herself and for her family.
She decided to create freedom from her professional job so she could create memories with her kids. It was at that very moment when Seed to Tree Coaching was born.
