On Thursday, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee will visit Chattanooga to celebrate the future of the downtown riverfront.

The State of Tennessee is investing 15 million dollars in Evolving Our Riverfront Parks - a project to revitalize the riverfront.

Governor Lee will join Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly, Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp, State Senator Bo Watson, former U.S. Senator - and former Chattanooga Mayor - Bob Corker and other local leaders for Thursday’s celebration, open to the public, at Ross’ Landing - 201 Riverfront Parkway - starting at 9:30 AM.

Dawn Hjelseth is with River City Company, the downtown development nonprofit - and one of the partners in the project.
