I entered the insurance industry a decade ago, after 21 years of being a chiropractor in the Greater Toronto Area. Although some may think that there is a great divide between these two professions, I have come to learn that there is indeed an overlap and benefits to my clients as a result of my previous career.
Most importantly, as a result of my medical background, I have the knowledge and ability to advocate and negotiate on behalf of my clients, when dealing with insurance carrier underwriters.
Also, just as I enjoyed and took great pride in helping my patients as their chiropractor, so too do I take pleasure in helping my insurance clients obtain the right coverage for themselves and their families. I am honoured, when my clients tell me, just as they did when I was a chiropractor, that they feel they are in good hands.
