Mecca Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor, personal style enthusiast, event curator, and social connector! Mecca is a native of Petersburg, VA and currently resides in Richmond, VA. She has been actively involved in her community in through different mediums of the arts and education. Mecca mostly recently collaborated with Education Connection Academy for a grant funded community based program called Style Affect. Style Affect uses the intersection of personal style and mental health to educate Black people on the impact of mental illness. Mecca is also co-curator of 2000’s theme dance party Two Triple Oh and co-facilitator of Cut to the Chase, a man-centric community discussion group.
