Here's a show I did for Shoreditch Radio (www.shoreditchradio.co.uk) to see out 2011. For those of you who listen regularly you'll notice that this is quite a departure from the usual RARE GROOVE SHOW playlist.
There's always room for good hip hop which acknowledges its own soul and jazz roots. My favourite hip hop generally comes from the period 1993-1996 when sampling by A Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock, DJ Premier and their contemporaries was at its best.
