I've been listening intensely to music from across the spectrum over the last month but two things have stood out among it all: mixes by Dego and Domu. These two unsung UK DJs with enviable record collections have the ability to leave the competition standing. I've personally witnessed them both turn club nights delirious with their innovation- playing unusual and often hard to find music. Domu sadly retired from the music scene at the end of 2009 (http://work-ethic.net/blogs/music/domu-retires) but fans hope he will return.
Dego- also of 4hero- is a long standing influence on me and now appears more regularly in New York than London. He was the first DJ I heard play Richard Evans 'Capricorn Rising' which is an important record in my collection.

With all this in mind I dug out a few records that I haven't played in years and which I hope you'll appreciate. This mix was done on September 6th on a rainy night in London with these two DJs in mind.
