Thanks to the magic of Skype we travel to South Africa to meet Elizabeth Wasserman, author of Dogtective William & the Diamond Smugglers. William and Alex must prevent a gang from getting their hands on some diamonds in Namibia. But this time they are required to work with another famous sleuth, Sergeant Maximilian. Something is nagging at William though . . . Is Max's patrol officer to be trusted? When our dogtective and his trusty young sidekick find themselves stranded along a deserted road under very suspicious circumstances, they realise they once again have only each other to rely on.
