Episode 000 - Intro to Real Estate Appraisal Between the Lines
Just like all good stories, there is a beginning, a middle, and an end. We had our beginning, middle, and end, and beginning. What? We re-recorded our intro episode to our podcast to discuss what we’ve done and where we are going.
Our podcast started out at as broad spectrum discussion on real estate. In January 2021, we shifted gears and focused on real estate appraisal and valuation to help agents understand the finer points and fun facts of real estate appraisal, valuation, and writing CMAs. Is that really fun, you ask? Listen in and I think we might change your mind on a few items that fall between the lines. Enjoy!

- 12:54 – Demand surrounded the appraisal topics, and we are focused on that.
- 13:55 – “Re-Launching” the episode with episode 52 that are appraisal focused. New episodes will come out weekly and will be short, 5 to 10 minutes long. All about valuation items.
- 15:22 – Cate: we will help agents to write CMAs by working through situations.
- 15:58 – Will include interviews and other things agents want to know. This podcast is centered around agents, not appraisers. Not technical.
- 16:54 – There are podcasts to help appraisers. Podcasts that help agents on broad spectrum items. There are not many pricing properties podcasts that help agents.
- 17:45 – Good-bye Cate. Cate still hates Brian. Good luck with her podcast. (ha ha) She will be back as a guest.
- 19:45 – We are excited for this new format. Great feedback from agents so far.
- 20:05 – Reach out B to ask questions and tell us what you want to learn and hear about.
- 21:15 – Brian is a narcissist with his email and website. But Cate is even more so with tons of websites devoted to her.
