If you like antiques and collectibles you should be in love with The Downtown Mall. The Downtown Mall is located at 108 Main Street South. Owner Gene Brinkman has been a collector since his youth as he learned from his father who also collected and sold old and interesting artifacts. The items at the Downtown Mall come from all over the world but mostly from our area (North Dakota) and from the deep South of Texas where Gene and his Bride live during the winter months. Gene is very quick witted, coupled with the fact he is a close friend, I had to leave a lot of tape on the editing floor to squeeze this interview into the 15 minutes of air time allowed by the radio station that plays Minot Real Estate Today. That station is KHRT and you can hear Minot Real Estate Today every Friday at 12:15 PM on KHRT-FM 106.9 or on KHRT-AM 1320 at 4:45PM.
