We all carry around with us emotional wounds from our past. Childhood traumas when we didn't have the tools and/or support to be able to process the emotions we were feeling at the time.
If these issues aren't healed, may feel stuck and triggered by similar situations, others reactions towards us or even grief. Healing our old wounds is important for our mental health and wellbeing.
